55 Table
[01]Description
In 1955, Jean Pauchard was in pursuit of his ideal table. He declared, "It's the leg that matters." He crafted an initial prototype with a more rectangular white base, which by 1960 he refined into its current, more elegant form. Thus, the T55 table came into being. Its slender and tapered legs, crafted entirely from steel, endow it with an ethereal elegance while affirming the robustness of its make. This version is enhanced with a wooden top, deliberately beveled to preserve the Table 55's design integrity. Technically speaking, it features solid oak construction with an interior three-ply panel and two continuous outer plies crafted by a cabinetmaker from Morvan. This wooden construction offers the benefit of exceptional stability. The table's frame and legs remain identical to those of the iconic Table 55 in steel. Available in various lengths - 70 cm, 140 cm, 200 cm, and 240 cm - it adapts to every space, asserting its presence with refined subtlety. * PEFC certified wood

[06]Maintenance
- 06.1Clean your steel furniture with a slightly damp sponge and immediately dry it. Prefer warm water with a little Marseille soap or neutral pH dishwashing liquid over alcohol-based solutions. Rinse and dry immediately.
- 06.2Do not use any detergent (such as bleach or solvent) or abrasive/metallic sponge which could deeply damage the coating.
- 06.3For bird droppings or similar dirt, we recommend immediate cleaning to prevent corrosion and permanent staining.
- 06.4Ensure to thoroughly wipe and dry your furniture to avoid any possibility of rust development in the future.
