Designed by Xavier Pauchard in 1935, this metal chair is an icon of French design. The year 2018 marked the 70th anniversary of its creator’s death and the end of the protection for this model. As a result, the market became flooded with low-cost and poor-quality copies.
In 2024, the desire to preserve this design heritage and its craftsmanship led TOLIX to offer this model exclusively on its online sales site at a "direct from the manufacturer" price, in order to meet the needs of customers looking to purchase high-quality French products at an affordable price.
